I&R

Finding and enrolling eligible migratory children quickly and efficiently is the foundation of a strong Migrant Education Program (MEP). California’s Identification and Recruitment (I&R) component ensures the correct implementation of MEP statute and regulations in the proper and timely I&R of all eligible migrant children in the state, including the documentation of the reason why each child has been determined to be eligible for the MEP.
