This article contains three quality improvement profiles resulting from regional participation in professional learning networks (PLNs) in 2023. The first profile describes the work focusing on using the PLN's to develop leading practices for Identification and Recruitment (I&R) in California.
The second profile describes the work accomplished by the San Diego County Office of Education Migrant Education Program in Region 9, and focuses on identifying families and youths closer to their date of arrival in the region.
The third profile provides an overview of work accomplished by the San Joaquin County Office of Education Migrant Education Program in Region 23. This profile focuses on increasing the number of referrals generated by all MEP staff, increasing the possibility of qualifying more children.
