The California Mini-Corps (CMC) Program is a statewide program designed to provide direct instructional services for migratory students in grades K-12 through a cadre of trained college tutors. The CMC program encompasses two major goals:
- To provide direct supplementary tutorial services to increase migrant student academic achievement through a cadre of trained college tutors.
- To develop a cadre of future bilingual-bicultural, credentialed teachers that will be better equipped to work with migrant students.
This presentation was given at the NASDME 2023 conference on May 1, 2023.
