This article covers a new feature in the MSIN system, called the CALPADS-API component, that will help streamline work around SSID numbers. This system enhancement automates the tasks of obtaining and validating SSID numbers by automatically matching migratory children in MSIN with their corresponding information in the CALPADS database, reducing the amount of manual work currently being done to look up and add SSID numbers in MSIN.
